• >> Happy First Anniversary <<

   

  before i start the anniversary entry, i just want to say congratulation to my son who graduated from third grade =). 

  

  he did really well on his report card =). we're so proud of our baby boy!

  

  this summer, he'll be taking swimming, soccer, guitar, forensic science, musical theater and arts & crafts with many extra activities, he'll have so much fun!

   

   

   

  a year ago today, we lost our independence =).

  

  we cramped so many things in our first year of marriage, we were pretty surprised we didn't kill each other already. lol. despite all the craziness, i'm so blessed to be married to a wonderful husband who adores and spoils me, my son and our "girl" cupcake and loves us unconditionally. tyler is becoming like mini-mr yummie! not only do they look alike, but act alike and likes the same things ie: games, sports, food, you name it... when we go out, people will comment "your son looks just like your husband" and i can't help but giggle =P.

  

  learning to let things go was the challenge i had to face the past year. i'm really not good dealing with changes, good or bad. i don't know why, my hormones get really out of whack and i get really overwelmed and just dig a hole and hide. it takes a lot longer for me to adjust than other people. thanks to my husband, his vow "things will turned out to be okay, it always did and it always will." always calm me down. i told mr yummie that we're taking everything S-L-O-W this year, if that's even possible w/ my personality =P. 

   

  

   

  for the first time, i feel settled and secured.

  we finally watched our wedding video at our anniversary trip for the first time =). it seemed like we were married for so many years and yet it seemed like the wedding was just yesterday. we had a blast watching the video. it was memoriable and it was a FUN wedding!

  

  there were so many laughters, from the beginning to the end...  from my vow "i'll give you tons of babies" which i still can't believe i said that, to the best man's hilarious 5 pages 35 minutes toast, to the fun wedding game which we won, to the video that mr yummie and his friends danced the jabbawockeez moves... it was truly a special day =).

  

  before i forget, i want to blog about my beautiful cupcake bag =). the pink strawberry cupcake clutch was made by judith leiber. it was a limited edition release, covered in hand glued austrian crystals. it was a smaller version of the bag charlotte's daughter, lily was carrying on sex and the city movie. the reason why this bag wasn't used was because carrie's phone couldn't fit so they had to make a bigger version.

  

  thanks to my girlfriend, jenn and judith leiber for "something borrowed" and of course continuing support of my cupcake business =).

  

  they said first year of marriage was hard, but we both agreed that our first year was the craziest happiest we've been =).

   

  yeah! we made it!

  

  happy first anniversary hubbie and we will definitely "grow old together" (our wedding song)!
